Hi Surety Team!
I have been beta testing the Cam Pro service. The past couple days I am getting called from avantguard for every person detected event even when my system has been disarmed rather than just when armed like my rule is supposed to be. Can you verify on your side that the rule is still set for only when the system is armed to forward video events?
The rules still say “except when disarmed”.
I looked at the history of the last one that was sent to the monitoring center (yesterday evening) and it shows that a person was detected at 9:46:27 pm, 23 seconds before the system was disarmed at 9:46:50 pm. Is that how the timing was in real life?
Or is there an example we can look at (approximate time) when the system was definitely disarmed and the Cam Pro rule still notified the monitoring center?
At that time I see there was a person detected by a Cam Pro rule at 2:03:14 pm and then the system was disarmed at 2:03:21 pm. But I also see that subsequent person-detection events were forwarded to the monitoring center for several minutes after the system was disarmed.
Let us look into this further and we’ll follow up ASAP. I’m not sure what the expected behavior is in that situation and the people I’d need to check with won’t be available until tomorrow.
If it’s causing a problem today please pause the recording rules until we get this sorted out. Thanks!
Looking at your history it looks like there were a large number of events that day, it looks like a bunch of those between 2:06 and 4:30ish may have been while disarmed. Is that accurate?
If so, after arming and disarming again, did the rule behave as expected?
If not, if you pause the rule and restart it, does that behavior resolve?
