When I am home and the system is not armed, the motion detector triggers an announcement on the panel when I move pass the detector. I am seeking a way to temporarily bypass the detector in the unarmed state so the panel would not make audible alerts every couple minutes. I searched the forum but did not find a solution. I do like that in Arm Stay the panel will state any movement detected by the basement motion sensor without triggering the alarm, so I would like to keep that option.
You would either need to disable the voice by swiping down from the main page > Settings > Advanced Settings > Dealer/Installer Code > Installation > Devices > Security Sensors > Edit Sensor > Press the pencil next to the motion > Voice Prompts set to off then save
If you want voice announcements on but a less amount of them, you can also set a high traffic shutdown. This means it will activate once and will not reactivate for the time set unless the system is armed in this period. This can be done following the same steps as above to edit the sensor.
