I was wondering if you had any information on the soon to be released GCtouch panel and sensors from 2 GiG ?, its alarm.com . will surety be supporting this new panel ? Not much info just received an ad about a conference on the new system
No specific info beyond what 2GIG has posted, although I am sure we will be supporting the panel. It is set to be a replacement for the GC2/GC2e. This will be a budget oriented system to compare with the 2GIG Edge panel.
The 2GIG S sensors should help alleviate a lot of compatibility concerns for legacy panels as well since they are reported to have an on board switch to choose between encrypted and unencrypted transmission.
Alarm.com does not seem to have any GCTouch related documentation yet. We should be posting some guides in the near future.
