Thank you, @jwcsurety . Yes, I would appreciate if you could kindly escalate this.
@alarmexp Thank you for your observations on this, as well! Just to confirm, my schedules are correctly incorporating the RTS units and I’m confident that mine is not a signaling issue.
In my case, when the affected RTSes read incorrectly, they always read the exact same temperature every time (always 31.9 dF) when in actuality the temperature is in the 70s. Did your customer experience this symptom, specifically?
@jason, can we please get an update on this ADC-S40-T RTS issue? This has been an ongoing problem for over a year now. I first reported this back in April 2024. I understand that we reached out to ADC in July 2024 and then escalated to both ADC and Qolsys in August 2024, when we were able to confirm that it was a functional issue, not just an indication/nuisance issue. To my knowledge, we have not heard anything meaningful from either of them since these interactions.
What have these vendors been saying? It’s been a rather frustrating experience not getting any solid response out of either of these companies, especially when we are dealing with their first-party hardware and ecosystem.
I’m sorry this has gone unresolved. We haven’t had any meaningful update. To my knowledge ADC has been unable to recreate it and I haven’t seen other reports of this specific symptom. It is extremely odd.
It has been a long time since we got an update on it. I’ll reach out again on it and push the issue.
Can you provide the firmware version that your T3000 reports?
Can you confirm what the panel shows under Settings > Advanced Settings > About > Z-wave for the firmware version?
One unique-ish aspect to this is that you manually updated your panel Z-wave radio firmware in the past if memory serves. There is a possibility that is why we haven’t been able to recreate the experience.
EDIT: ADC Core support just made it sound like there may have been another report of this. I am not sure if they were just referencing an old ticket for your account or if it is a different case. We are trying to get confirmation if there are actually multiple cases of this now as that would be a huge help.
Thank you, Jason. I appreciate whatever you can do on this.
To answer your questions:
T3000 is reporting MFW, RFW, ZFW all at 1.20 and HW at 8
Panel is reporting Z-Wave Firmware Version of 6.81.03
Yes, you are absolutely correct - we manually updated the Z-wave radio firmware in the past to address… I think probably something related to Schlage lock functionality that somehow crept in with a normal panel firmware update…?
