I would like to add a water sensor near the base of my water heater (which flooded today). What sensor would work best with my Surety monitored 2Gig GC3 panel? Any advice would be appreciated.
We currently sell the 2GIG-FT6-345 here. It can detect floods and also dripping leaks if placed under the drip source.
I looked at this. It appears it does not work with the IQ2 base? It lists the IQ2+.
Based on the panel on file, you would need either a PowerG or a 319.5MHz flood sensor. 345MHz sensors would not be compatible. Are you referencing this panel?
