Hi, my new 2gig panel shipped with the battery disconnected. I plugged it in, but 2 weeks later I still get a low battery alert. It does not seem to be charging. I searched the forum but could not find anything to configure or change to fix this. I am wondering if the battery is bad or the panel is not charing it? Should I return one or is there something else I can do?
If you powered up your panel with the transformer first before plugging in battery and have not power cycled the panel since that time, it might explain the errant report.
You always want to connect battery first, then plug in the transformer when powering up.
Unplug Panel transformer, unplug battery. Wait 30 seconds. Plug in battery, plug in transformer. Does the low battery go away shortly?
