The maximum sensor/magnet gap was also a challenge and required some creative solutions to get the sensor to function at all.
This is a big part that sometimes gets forgotten when it comes to gates and such. The indoor sensors are made for specific applications and a specific maximum distance gap. A gate will generally require a more generous and forgiving magnetic gap.
