Battery absent trouble alert

I recently replaced the battery on my GC3 panel (the old one had swollen so badly it was almost forcing the panel off the wall and triggering the tamper alert).

Ever since doing that my alarm.com app gives me a “Battery Absent Trouble (system)” alert at the top. I’ve tried fully rebooting the panel (unplugged battery and wall power and waited a few minutes then reconnected) and running a cell/network test, but this persists.

How can I clear this trouble code?

I’m not seeing any active low battery alerts, it looks like that trouble condition just failed to clear. I have dismissed that alert in your account so you should no longer see it in Alarm.com.

If the panel reports that status again, the alert will come back, but it sounds like you should be all set.

Just to be sure, when unplugging the power supply, the panel still operates on battery right?

Thank you, that trouble warning is now gone and yes, the panel stays powered on with just the battery connected. Now there’s a new problem, though, one of my sensors is showing as open when it is not. Hallway door sensor. Of no, that door was open when I rebooted the alarm panel but now it’s just showing persistently open. The sensor itself seems to work fine.

Of no, that door was open when I rebooted the alarm panel but now it’s just showing persistently open.

If the door status changed when the panel was booting it’s likely that ADC just does never got that status update from the panel. Try opening and closing that door now. Does the status resolve?

Well I’m embarrassed I didn’t think to try that but that did fix it thanks again. No errors now!
