Attic heat sensor

I have the iq panel 5, smart sensor 5602, and pgp9945e auxiliary sensor. Wiring the 5602 and pgp9945e produces a trouble signal and alarm warning. The sensor input is configured as end of line, sensor type is heat, and sensor group is 26. What is incorrect that it signals fire?

Yes, the above programming is correct however it currently looks to be programmed as group 52 currently.

I just want to be sure it is wires correctly. For a heat detector, you will follow diagram C. You will need to have a 5.6K resistor between the two terminals on the heat detector for it to be monitored 24/7.

Thank you Vidal. I will add the 5.6k resistor at the sensor.

I changed it to group 52 to prevent it from activating. I will put the system into test mode and add the 5.6k resistor and change the group back to 26.

Let us know if you still have issues after making these changes.

Thank you
