Anyone using Tasker with Vivint?

Hi all,

Just getting my feet wet with geofencing and automation via apps like Tasker and iFTTT, and was wondering if anyone has any experience with such a solution.

Wanted to get some input before I actually buy any apps.

Vivint doesn’t allow their Users to use ADC GEO fencing as far as I am aware. Has this changed?

If you have the Sky, that is an entirely different backend, and I dunno if it uses GEO fencing or not.

Thanks riven. I’ve got the legacy/old style vivint panel.

If you can use GEO Location, you should see a GEO SERVICES tab on your alarm.com (go to Customer Login and sign in with your vivint username and password). You can also use the Alarm.com mobile app if you have the Vivint branded GoControl.
