Why can’t I set up the “any water sensor” alarm event to close my water valve but I can set it up to operate my shades or light switch?
Having to set up individual water sensor alarm events for my water valve is extremely annoying and inconvenient.
I am not entirely sure why the rules are not allowing selection of Any Water Sensor. It might be a bug or oversight. I’ll reach out to Alarm.com and let them know.
I see that if you select any water sensor as the alarm trigger in the new rules builder it does not allow you to select the water valves as the device being activated.
has there been any update from alarm.com regarding this?
No eta on this yet, but I have reached out to ADC see if there is any update.
