When selecting the type of activity detected by analytics, that selection applies to which recordings generate notifications and/or automation rules triggered by the camera. It does not eliminate certain recordings of motion within the detection area.
All activity which triggers the trip wire or detected in the ground zone, as it applies, is recorded. This ensures that no activity is missed.
It looks like there were about 130 clips over the past 24 hours. If it continued at that pace for a full month you would go over the 3000 clips a bit. The Front Yard camera appears to be causing the Lion’s share of clips recently.
