Amazon Is an Even Bigger Threat to Privacy Than Facebook - Medium

The title seems dramatic, but invasion of privacy is real. We design and partner with services that try to avoid invasion of privacy.

Agreed that this article is a bit dramatic in how it presents the privacy risks. However, it also illustrates how tone deaf some are to the legitimate privacy concerns we should be considering as technology advances.

I reject the idea that technology has to evolve at the expense of our right to privacy. It behooves us all to consider the choices we make and their implications. What’s that old saying? “If you’re getting the product for free, then you are the product.”
