I was able to turn lights on and off with Alexa.
Now it says that "I found more than one device with that name . PLease give them unique names and run discovery "
I cant remember how I set up Alexa or where the device list resides.
Can you help?

Found the devices in the Alexa app. No duplicates.
Unlinked and re linked the ADC app
Rebooted panel
Still get the same error

Is there a specific device you are attempting to control?
Does this occur for all devices or just specific devices?
Typically, If Alexa is finding duplicate devices, here are the steps to resolve this:
If there are no duplicates, test the light function again. If you get the same response, open Alexa app > More > Account History and check exactly what Alexa heard when you gave the command. Did it hear what you said?
No duplicates show in the Alexa device list. The error occurs for every device. I deleted one to test and re added it through discovery and got the same error.
It is hearing me correctly so I don’t think that’s the issue and it being spread across all devices seems odd
I think it has something with running the alarm.com skill and the Alarm.com smart home skill. Do I run 1 or both. Both were running. Tried running the smart home one only and still error. Not sure how to fix this now
I have the ADc smart home skill only running. Everything works if I say ask alarm.com to…… trying to get it back where I didn’t have to say that
Figured it out and will try and save you a lot of time and aggravation
There was an update to the skill. I used to say “Turn on Bedroom Light” even though the Light was just called Bedroom.
You no longer have to say “light” at the end. So you just say bedroom.
But we are so used to saying “light” for all these years, so now I will go to the ADC portal and add the word light to all the lights. I have to disable the skill and renable so that it pulls the new names.
Thank you for the follow up, this will help other users navigate this update.
For further clarification. It was stating that it found multiple devices because I was saying the word “light” and this was confusing the devices after the update. Even though I generally did not label devices with the word “light” it must have thought I was referring to a category “light” or something like that. I also believe I had a couple that had the that in the name
Again the solution is to rename your devices and add the word “light” or stop saying the word “light” if its not in the device description.
