Looks like all my Z Wave devices controlled from my 2Gig panel are no longer responding to Alexa voice commands. In trying to repair it appears there is no longer an Alarm.com Smart Home skill, only an Alarm.com skill. Must I now preface Alexa commands with "Ask Alarm.com to xxx?
I am not aware of any change to the Smart Home skill, per documentation it is still supported.
- Open the Amazon Alexa app on a mobile device.
- Tap More.
- Tap Skills & Games.
- In the search field, enter Alarm.com, then tap Search.
- Tap Alarm.com Smart Home.
Do you not see the smart home skill showing up as an option?
Today the full suite of Alarm.Com commands are back in the Alexa Skills. Seems as though there have been some hiccups for Alexa in transition to Alexa+. From my narrow view of Home Automation I am seeing issues with other platforms as AI is introduced and more monetization efforts are in play. Working now, thanks for response.
