Alarm.com Website WiFi Says Not Connected

I received my IQ5 panel - and connected it to wifi and went ahead and paired a bunch of sensors I bought.

I just connected it to the alarm.com website - and everything seemed to go fine.

if I go to settings / control panel settings - it indicates that my wifi isn’t connected and says “Connect your panel to your home Wi-Fi network, enabling a backup communication path in case your cellular service is ever interrupted.”

is this a cosmetic issue or something I need to fix / re-configure? I see that I can scan for SSIDs - and even pick one and enter a password - but didn’t want to do that in the case it might mess something up.

I mainly went into that area exploring - and wanted to see what options there were for the control panel settings.

I did run a test and it does show the panel is connected to your Wi-Fi and talking to Alarm.com successfully.

Are you still receiving this issue at the panel?

no issue at the panel - it says wifi is connected. my home networking device shows that too.

it was just the ADC website:

i just logged back in and the website now shows WIFI is connected.

i’ll chalk that up to either you doing the test, or gremlins :slight_smile:
