I am about to order a system enhancement module (SEM) for a Vista 20P panel in my parent’s house. Is there any information Surety needs from me for installation to be successful?
To activate service with the SEM you will need to know and supply the correct installer code in the activation form. If you aren’t sure what the installer code is, it is easy to reset on Vista panels. Instructions on how to reset the code if necessary are found in the installation guide for the SEM300 linked below.
Do we need to set up an Alarm.com account through Surety before we activate the SEM?
And is there an option for Verizon or AT&T cellular?
When you pay for a subscription, you will have to go through a few steps after which are to create your alarm.com account. Activating the SEM is what created the alarm.com account.
There is an option of either the Verizon or AT&T. You can request either in the notes when placing your order
Hello, I recently ordered the SEM 300 module. When I placed the order, I requested a unit compatible with AT&T in the notes section (see attached image), but the shipper sent a Verizon compatible model. Can we do an exchange?
