- Default Mobile Device Naming: Enhanced the mobile device naming process by implementing default naming conventions to reduce confusion. Now, when adding a device to a system account, the name defaults to “[First Name]'s [device type]” for primary logins and “[login name]'s [device type]” for non-primary logins. Customers can confirm their preferred device name via the new Device Name page or from the Manage Devices page. These updates enhance data storage and ensure consistent naming across accounts. Existing mobile device names will not change; however, customers with device names that differ for their push notifications and location services settings will be prompted to sync them in the app. Mobile app > More > App Settings > Device Name
- Updated Activity Feed Filter Icons: Introduced several new icons and updated existing ones for a variety of device and event type filtering options for the Activity feed. These minor UI changes make it more intuitive to select and apply filters, allowing you to zero in on key system activity history. Mobile app > Activity tab > Tap the Filter icon to select and apply filters
- Faster Status Updates for Unknown Garage Doors: Enhanced the garage door user experience for iOS users. For increased awareness, the app now updates more quickly when a garage door fails to close, such as when it is obstructed or a brief power outage occurs. On the Garage Doors device page, you will promptly see an Unknown device status and an in-app pop-up message for more information, helping you resolve the issue and secure your property faster. - Resolved an issue for iOS users where the system event history did not resume updating after turning off Airplane Mode. Customers can tap the Load More button to view the latest events in the Activity timeline. Mobile app > Activity tab
