Hello, I purchased a home with 4 Hikvision ds-2ce56d5t-vfit3 cameras along with various other security equipment, and wanted to integrate my video cameras into the Alarm.com system.
I ended up buying a Alarm.com Video Server (ADC-VS420), even though I know that the max resolution is 700 TVL, but it seems it cannot handle the HD analog signals from the Hikvision cameras natively (just get the blue screen).
Does anyone have any ideas on how I can solution this to integrate my existing cameras into the Alarm.com interface ?
Thanks @tyler for your reply. I actually just figured this out.
The solution was to switch the coax cable hookup from the camera from the HD one to the CVBS one (apparently most Hikvision analog cameras have a little dongle with CVBS), as soon as I did that the camera came through without any issues in Alarm.com.
Btw, I did get the ADC-VS420 from eBay, only $60 new in box.
