Hello Surety team, yesterday my Z-Wave extender started flashing white so today after waiting it out and not seeing any results I deleted it, cleared the device from the network, and re-added it. I was able to successfully pair it, but for some reason the device keeps breathing white even though it’s connected. I did a Z-Wave test and network rediscovery and the panel is able to successfully communicate with the device, so I’m not sure why the device isn’t solid white.
It sounds like its paired and working, sometimes re-plugging it will help with the issue where the LED is just blinking as if it is ready to pair.
Usually it indicates some sort of corruption with the pairing process so there are 2 options that could potentially help.
-
Try powering down the repeater for a few minutes, then power it back up. This can something refresh and allow the repeater to see that it is operating as a part of the network.

Exclude the Repeater, reboot or power cycle both the Repeater and the hub and leave both unpowered for a few minutes, then power them back up and pair the repeater again. Try pairing the repeater within 5-10 ft to the hub, then move it out to its installation location afterwards.
I believe the device might be faulty because I followed the steps you provided and the pairing button is not responsive. It doesn’t respond to the factory reset, doesn’t respond to put it on pairing mode. It just stays breathing white.
