I have been able to add my Siren 6 as a Z-wave device to my Telus supplied Qolsys panel but have been unable to determine how to configure the siren to go off when a sensor is opened or closed. Any suggestions?

Does the siren show up in Alarm.com as a Z-Wave device that you can add to an Automation rule under Automation > New Rules Builder?
Is it reporting as a binary switch or as a Siren?
I am not using alarm.com, I am using the Telus supplied Qolsys panel. And yes, the Aeotec siren 6 shows up as z-wave devices once I added them.
As we are an Alarm.com provider, I could not speak to any interactions on a platform outside of Alarm.com.
You may be able to use onboard device associations for the siren from the Qolsys panel. Select Settings > Automation. From there click the edit pencil next to the Z-Wave device you wish to create an association with then select the sensor you wish to associate. Triggering the sensor should trigger the associated Z-Wave device.
The Aeotec Siren 6 is not listed as tested compatible by Qolsys so it may not work in whole or in part.
