ADT to 2GIG

I’ve been peripherally aware of this but now researching for a family member. New home has existing ADT install, want to move away from ADT. I know the 2GIG takeover module exists, but I’m confused by what’s going on - I see a main panel, several sub panels, sensors, IP camera, etc but I haven’t found a place where all the wiring terminates (where the takeover module would go). Do I need to keep looking, or does ADT have something similar to 2GIG where the panel is the core and everything is wireless? Photo attached.

ADT is sold through authorized dealers, and a variety of panels might be used - the type of panel used is mostly determined by the dealer.

That looks like a branded Honeywell Lynx panel. You would want to check the sensors at the location and determine the models, but I would guess they are all Honeywell 5800 series wireless.

If so, the sensors would be compatible with the 2GIG or GC3 panel out of the box.

Cameras would not be compatible, as Alarm.com specific video camera models are required.

Hey that is good news! So, pending confirming the sensors, it could just be a matter of replacing the panel and re-pairing the sensors. Understood the camera would also need to be replaced.

Yes, as long as they are Honeywell 5800 wireless you would just learn them right into the 2GIG panel.
