Have existing Ademco 5808LST wireless smoke/heat detector. Can I program to work with my 2Gig panel? If so, which type should I use, existing smoke or 5808W3 (not 5808LST).
I don’t recall using that exact model myself but theoretically 2GIG should work with any Honeywell 5800 series wireless sensor. It won’t matter which equipment type you choose as long as you program the serial number and loop numbers correctly. Give it a try and let us know if it works.
