Trying to add Kwikset 910 zwave lock to 2gig. trying to follow the instruction on youtube. but no luck. suspect it is due to the fact it is currently pair to my wink?
Z-wave devices can only be assigned to one parent controller at a time. You will need to remove the lock from its current network in order to add it to the 2GIG panel’s z-wave network. This can be done from either the 2GIG panel or the Wink. This must be done first before it can be added to the 2GIG panel.
To remove the lock from its previous network via the 2GIG panel, navigate to: Services -> Z-Wave -> Wrench Icon -> Installer Code -> Remove Device, then press the lock’s z-wave inclusion/exclusion button (top left button behind cover) to remove the lock from its existing z-wave network. Once removed you can then add the lock to the 2GIG panel’s network. Did this work?
How far away from the panel is the lock when attempting to pair? Its best to install the lock and then bring the panel close to the lock when pairing.
