Didn’t look like there was an existing post on this particular topic, but maybe someone knows of one.
I was tinkering with adding a Ring Keypad (Gen 2) to a new 2GIG EDGE panel. I was able to add the device in the Z-wave area, but it doesn’t seem to be doing much. Any chance anyone knows of any plans for 2GIG to support such a Z-wave device?
Z-Wave devices may learn into the panel but if it is not compatible, it may not work as expected. Below is the link to compatible devices. While some Z-Wave devices may not be on the list, it does not mean it will not work either as sometimes different brand light switches may work similar to ones that are on the list. If possible, testing is the only way to confirm if it will work.
As for Ring keypads being compatible on the Edge panel, it would be interesting to have that work but I feel it is also highly unlikely their engineers would try and do that.
