Hi, I just switched my wifi network and I need to switch my doorbell camera to the new wifi. Alarm.com told me to delete the old camera, reset the device, and add it to the system. When I tried, alarm.com said I lacked the permissions necessary to add a video camera to the system. Please advise.
Are you logged in as the primary user on you Alarm.com account or as a secondary user?
A while back ADC I believe made some changes to how video doorbell registration is handled and it takes a short time for the deletion to fully process and the registration for that camera to be able to occur again. This is an expected delay in most cases for video doorbells after deleting one. The error message is misleading. If you wait about 30 minutes then try again it should be ready.
