Adding a VDB770 Video Doorbell from Previous alarm.com Provider - Not Connecting

Hi, I’m trying to add my VDB770 video doorbell to my alarm.com account and it is not being found. It’s on the same WiFi network, the button is showing a solid green light, and I’ve tried “refreshing devices” and finding it with the MAC address, but it’s not connecting. I see websites suggesting that this needs to be deleted from my previous alarm.com account before being added to this one, but I’m not Sure how to do that. Any help would be appreciated.

That is correct, an Alarm.com camera can only be assigned to one account at a time, and must be deleted from the first account before it can be added to a new one.

If your old account is still active you would need to login to that account, go to Video > Settings > Video Device Info and scroll down to find a delete camera option.

If you send a private message with your camera MAC address I can help verify the registration status to confirm whether that is an issue.
