I already have an ADC-724 camera on my account. I am attempting to add another to my account. It updates the firmware but fails to properly install the camera to my account.
The installation gets to 84% “Configure Recording Settings” before the instal stops and posts Error: There was an unknown error in the install"
I have attempted to factory default the camera and I have tried this on two different cameras and both cameras fail the install.
If you have not tried both, the first thing I would do is try the other in this instance if you are seeing the same failure at the same point in the process from two cameras.
Are both of the new cameras also V724? Are they new V724X models or are they used?
These errors are on the website install. The app is not able to even find the cameras, however the website at least finds the cameras, updates the firmware and gets stuck on adding the camera to my account.
One camera is used and one is new in box, however both I have had them for over a year prior to install attempt hence the need to update the firmware.
Is your phone connected to the same wifi network as your cameras? I would recommend connecting the cameras to a unique 2.4Ghz SSID to ensure a smooth setup.
