ADC-VDB750 Wifi connection issues

Hi. I have installed a new doorbell ADC-VDB750. I cannot get it connect to the wifi my security system is on. The doorbell wifi connection always comes back with a red solid light.

I verified that is is 2.4Ghz wifi. I have connected to the doorbell’s wifi, gone to the IP address and selected the wifi network and entered the password. I have attempted this around 10 times using a cell phone and a laptop wifi connect. Each time the doorbell light is red. I have reset (holding down the button for around 70 sec until it flashes red, green) the door bell twice. I verified I am using the correct password by connecting to it on my cell phone and laptop.

I was able to connect to my main wifi (which is not the same as the security system wifi) using the WPS button. However, since this is not on the same network, my security system does not see it.

What model of router are you connecting to?

Using something like speedtest.net check the 2.4Ghz network’s Upload/Download speed at the installation site. What is it?

Is this 2.4Ghz or 5Ghz? Does the network name differ from that of the 2.4Ghz you are trying to connect to?

After Factory Resetting the VDB750, during the boot sequence the LED should be flashing red, then settle on flashing white indicating it is in Wi-Fi Access Point mode. Does it do this?

Once the LED is flashing white, you’re connecting to the Wi-Fi network ADC-VDB750 (XX:XX:XX) then you open a web browser and enter http://vdb750install.com or 192.168.1.1 .

When navigating to that URL, You should see a screen where you Scan for networks
then select the desired one. The Wi-Fi name automatically populates in the SSID field, correct? The signal strength between the Wi-Fi network’s access point and the video device should be indicated as a numerical value underneath the name of the Wi-Fi network. What is this value.?

After clicking submit, does the LED stay solid red the entire time, or does it change color at all, if so what color?

Hi there! Strangely, after appearing solid red again, it eventually auto-connected by itself. I was able to add it successfully to my security system. Thank you!
