Looking for some troubleshooting advice on an Alarm.com ADC-VDB750 doorbell camera.
We recently had a storm and what appears to have been a nearby lightning strike or electrical surge. The event tripped a GFCI breaker in the house and caused a few other electrical issues. The breaker has since been replaced and power has been restored.
Since then, the doorbell camera won’t come online. The LED sequence is:
-
Blinking red
-
Solid red
-
Blinking green
-
Solid green
-
LED turns off
-
Repeats the entire cycle indefinitely
Additional observations:
-
The doorbell is receiving power from the doorbell wiring because it powers up and starts the boot sequence when connected.
-
When I connect it to the mounting plate, the indoor chime rings once as if the doorbell is sending a signal.
-
The unit does not stay online long enough to appear functional.
-
The device appears to be stuck in a continuous reboot loop.
-
I have not yet measured voltage at the doorbell wires with a multimeter.
