ADC-VDB750 extremely loud static background noise in recording and live

Hi,

I just checked on a video recording and live on my alarm app to check in on the doorbell and I realized that the static noise is so loud to the point where I couldn’t hear people talking close to the camera. I’m not sure what is going on or what is a recommended fix.

Is there anything I can consider trying to resolve this?

If this is occurring on every clip, try power cycling the unit first. Press and hold button for 40-45 seconds until the LED flashes Yellow then let go. Give it about 5 minutes to fully cycle, should be left with a solid green LED once it is done. Then test by triggering a recording and call through app. Does the static still show up, or is the issue resolved?

It seems that power cycling did the trick. I ended up hard resetting and adding back the camera. Now it works good.

Not sure we have seen this specific issue you encountered. Did it start immediately after install, or did it occur over time?

Did you remove the camera from its mounting plate during troubleshooting, or just perform the reset via the button?

Seems to have occurred over time. We just did a reset with the button, the doorbell was never unmounted after installation.

Its possible the wiring is loose, checking connection to ensure its correct and that the doorbell is connected to the backplate correctly would be the next steps if it occurs again.
