Hi. I installed two VCB105 doorbell cameras. One connected to my account fine and seems to be working well. The other has a flickering blue light and nothing else. It won’t connect to my account and I can’t get it to flash red and green. I’ve tried powering down and resetting it using the button on the bottom of the doorbell. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Is it flashing only blue, or alternating blue and other colors?
The doorbell should only flash blue by itself as a status when holding the doorbell button down for about 70 seconds, this initiates a reboot.
As for other blue LED related statuses:
Does it actually respond as expected when holding the button down to power cycle and factory reset?
Just blue only, no alternating colors. I’ve tried holding down the button for the different required times but no change.
Are the two skybells connected to the same chime?
Is it a mechanical or digital chime?
Do you have a multimeter/voltmeter to test the power you are seeing at the doorbell wires? If so what voltage are you reading?
Hi Jason, this was a low voltage issue. Added a transformer for each camera and both are working well. Thank you.
