I have an ADC-V724. When I try to engage the speaker and talk through the camera, I get the message “Speaker in use by another user. Simultaneous use”. I am using the app on an iPhone 17 Pro Max using the latest firmware. I have not tried to use this speaker button in a long time so I am not sure it is operator error or an issue. I did just put a memory card in the camera and setup a 24/7 rule with audio recording as well. I thought that may be the issue so I disabled recording audio for the 24/7 rule but that did not help. The “siren” on the cam works so I know the speaker works. See picture.
That’s unusual. Multiple users can view and listen to camera audio at the same time. However, only one user can communicate from the mobile device to the camera at a time.
Do you have other users who would be accessing the video feed? I see a couple additional logins on the account.
Would you like me to send a command to reboot the camera so you can try again and see if the same message pops up? If it does I think that would indicate a bug of some kind.
Yea thought this was weird. Got the same message on the web browser (safari on MacBook ) as well. No other user is using the camera. Please send command.
Thanks for confirming. It is possible that was just a bug where ADC never registered that two way feed closed after the last use, however I would recommend to make sure your login is secured.
In Alarm.com go to Settings > Login Information > Password. There you can change your password and log out all current devices ( I would recommend doing that if you think your password may have been compromised ) and you can click the Review My Devices link to check recent and current connected devices to check for any unrecognized events.
You can disregard the entries showing Council Bluffs, IA, specifically as those are logged when system manager is used to access your account, service plan features, etc.
Under the notifications page, the System Actions to Watch notification has a couple login related notifications that I would recommend making sure are selected. They are found under the Other section, example below:
