Hello
I have this one Camera ADC-V721W or ADC-V722W out of four other cameras of the same model that have disconnecting very very often,
Each time I re-install it, it will work for a few minutes/hours/day and then go offline again.
No other cameras seems to do this, and I am not sure what is causing this one camera to do that.
Is there a way to troubleshoot? Firmware issue may be ?
Also, I noticed that on all the cameras, there is a time discrepancy between the time of the notification and the time shown on the screen… (photo attached) what could be causing this ?
Looking at your video device signal strength history, all the cameras have points where signal strength drops pretty low, but this camera in particular shows a spot where it hit 10%, which is way too low to connect reliably.
The issue looks to be band switching. I see different cams report the same SSID yet one shows it is using 2.4Ghz, and another reports it is using 5Ghz. Judging by the SSID I am guessing this is a separate network just for the cams?
5Ghz must be disabled or set with a unique SSID. Cams should never be able to switch between 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. 5Ghz has less range and can be very difficult to maintain connection for outside cameras.
Disabling 5Ghz or changing its SSID should stabilize this issue.
