ADC-V523 vs ADC-V723

I now have two of the ADC-V723 outdoor cameras. I see the ADC-V523 have been released now. Looking at the two of these, are they the same camera just a different mount and weather rating it seems? Also the 523 allows ethernet where the outdoor(723) is wifi only.

Where I am going with this is, currently the 723 is cheaper than I can find the 523 indoor camera. Any downside of just buying the outdoor version for use indoors if Iā€™m not using ethernet?

Not really. The 723 is slightly larger in physical size then the 523 and is rated for outdoor use.
