Adc thermostat temp not syncing.

So I’m having some sync issues between my thermostat and adc.

I know there is temp averaging etc but this is a specific issue.

I have the adc t2000 thermostat and 3 s2000 sensors.

So on my adc android app and adc on my pc the man thermostat was showing 77*. If I actually went and looked at the thermostat it was showing 76* I even turned it off to make sure I was looking at the temp setting and not the setpoint.

I went and looked at the app and it was updating the system status to off but the temp would not sync. And a few min it finally synced up.

And the remote sensors seem to take a while to update. Yes I added them at their location in the home.

I have a first generation tstat and remote sensors. I believe at some point adc is suppose to update the original thermostats and I wonder if this is still buggy from the original release.

Hmm. When you notice the Tstat temp to not be matching between the app and the tstat, is it always 1 degree?

Just to be sure, how many repeating devices are in your Z-wave network? It looks like there are only a few so depending on the locations of the temp sensors they may need a bit more assistance from AC nodes.

Everything zwave seems to work fine and the thermostat mode changes back and forth update fast. It just for some reason the temps don’t update very fast or they are off/ delayed.

Here is a pic of the thermostat readout and my readout from my phone. These were taken at the exact same time and I had refreshed the app at least 3 times and it still wouldn’t update. It only updated when I cycled the thermostat mode.

And what is the frequency of the remote sensors to update? They seem to not update very fast.

Pic is too big. But my main thermostat shows the temp as 76*. I changed the mode to the off position to very first I was seeing the current temp and not setpoint.

Second pic try

When you notice the Tstat temp to not be matching between the app and the tstat, is it always 1 degree?

looks like this time indicates another 1 degree difference. to recollection, has it ever been more than 1 degree?

I ask because I am wondering if this is an issue with how the T-stat or ADC rounds fractional temps.

I’ve only noticed 1* so far.

How do the sensors interact with the tstat?

It seems all settings and to adjust averaging happened on the adc side. Then is the tstat listening for the temp sensors or are they reporting to adc?

I know you’ve said there is a newer firmware for the tstat and I wonder if there are bugs in the first releases.

The funniest thing is it seemed to be more solid and faster reporting in my 2gig panel with the emergency spelled out. Since I’ve upgraded to a newer panel it’s seemed to be buggy.

The Tstat is communicating with the sensors directly and handling the averaging, I’m told.

What is the firmware on your T2000? There are two versions, T-stat and Radio version. When the T-stat is off, holding the up arrow

1.20 tstat
1.10 radio

So I just figured out what’s going on.

When temp averaging is set the tstat display displays the average and not theven individual temp of the sensor.

Interesting, the Tstat itself? I’ve been testing in a pretty uniform environment here but that would make sense.
