Jason, that would be hard to do as I don’t have a place that will fluctuate temperatures like that to get correct response.
Also if that would be the case then all of them will go off line. I have total of 5 sensors and its always only 3 that goes off line. Once they start going off line its always same three sensors, but not always same set of three sensors. So that should rule out hardware issue.
Also every single time they go off line I don’t get anything on the panel like “malfunction” they just show in the app off line and do not report temperature any longer. usually you will get red popup with number over surety logo. I don’t get that. on the panel it looks like everything is fine.
Also they were always at the same location prior to this start happening. and we are talking years and never had this issue.
Yeah I am pretty certain that the issue is one of firmware. It’s not necessarily important to have fluctuating temps, my assumption is that they may not show malfunction if there are frequent changes, but since you have described them reporting malfunction at different times and recently only one of them for a while it would be helpful to rule out distance, environment, z-wave routes, etc., that have a location element and bench test.

It’s 5:31am here and sensor just went off line again. I put it back on right after. It’s one sensor specifically now.
Recently you identified only one was showing malfunction. This is why I want to see if differences in the location has any impact at all.
Out of curiosity when 3 malfunction, is it the last three sensors? As in, chronologically the last three that were paired are the ones to malfunction?
No this time the three that did it was the first 3. I have two more learn after.
Also to rule out distance, one of the sensors is only 5 to 8 feet away from the panel. Family room temp sensor. Also where they are located all of my rooms have wired in wall zwave light switch or dimmer switch, actually two switches per room one for light and one for fan, so they should act as repeaters correct?
Have you deleted and relearned those temp sensors since applying 4.4.0?
The firmware notes call out a fix for improper pairing of the S2000-T. Presumably whatever this impacts would require the device to be paired again after firmware is applied.
Jason. I did delete them all about an hour ago waited and perform rediscovery then relearn them all. rediscover again and now we wait and see what happens. I will report back.
