ADC T40K HD Firmware

Hello, Happy Holiday everyone. I have two ADC T40K HD thermostats and it looks like they are on completely different firmware to the point that one has completely different look on the screen then the other. It has been driving my wife crazy and she want to remove them. Supposedly from reading on line firmware is over air updatable. How do I have new firmware push to them both so they end up on the same firmware version.

Firmware cannot be manually updated on the T40K. We do not have the ability to send firmware.

What you appear to be referencing is the dynamic background and salutations. One thermostat looks like it is active the other does not.

I have sent a command to the panel to set the time, which is used to start the dynamic backgrounds.

If after a few minutes you do not notice the first thermostat and second have similar screens, then power cycle the thermostat in picture 2. Does it revert to look like the first one when it boots back up?

I thought that adc was actually able to push firmware to this thermostats. Can you inquire about this, maybe it has to be done on the back end ?

Can you find out what was change between firmwares on my thermostats ?

Also can you find out for me if there is possibility to purchase or have adc warranty back plate of the thermostat. I pull on the wire too hard and y terminal fall a part.

What else can you set in your end on this thermostats?

That was not a thermostat setting, it was a panel time setting that is automatically synced with the tstats. There are no configurations beyond what you see in thermostat config in Alarm.com.

Firmware cannot be pushed at this time. It may be planned for the future.

I have sent a message to ADC regarding the firmware difference, but this would not be known to general support reps. I would expect a delay in that response.

The back plate is not sold individually. For warranty info it would be necessary to contact the vendor where the T40K was purchased.

@jwcsurety my second floor and basement shows battery icons. All my thermostats are adc t40k hd thay have no battery, my first floor shows no battery icon? can you check on your end if they are register as correct thermostat ? and if there is a way of correcting that without removing and adding them back on.

I am not seeing this. Where are you seeing the icon, can you provide a screenshot?

@jwcsurety it was on web interface. I remove them all and put them back on and it correct it self. Maybe it was because I used replace node to put new thermostat in the place of the t3000

Jason what is service provider information? In advanced configuration ? When in there it ask you for a pin?

I believe the T40K can list service provider details like contact method etc., like panels can. It is not relevant as far as user settings go.
