about to install a new ADC-T2000 thermostat on my 2gig system…I need to know how to set the thermostat up for heat pump, w/electric backup, 2stage heat and cool on compressor,swing diff., etc
Is this done after I learn the stat into the panel.

It’s done after you learn it into the panel. The first time you go to alarm.com after learning it into the panel it will show you a diagram of the wiring panel and ask you to check off which wires are plugged in.
All advanced settings can be accessed by the configuration menu on your Alarm.com Thermostat page and selecting “Advanced Configuration.”
Click the settings gear icon and select advanced config.
