I have a ADC-T2000 smart thermostat. My question is at what temperature higher than the balance point will it allow my compressor to run again after being lockout. Meaning if my balance point is set @ 25 F and is locked out at what temperature will it allow my compressor to run again.
This would be when the weather service data indicates temperature returns to or above the balance point. 25f in that example.
That is what I was thinking as well but from my observation of the last two compressor lockouts. My system will not allow my compressor to run again until the outside temperature is @ or above 32 F. I was hoping to get confirmation on this so I can set my daily schedule.
The thermostat should use the compressor again once your local weather data shows that the temperature has returned to above the set balance point.
I’m not seeing a subscription associated with your Surety account. If there isn’t any additional equipment on your HVAC system itself that is locking out the heat pump at low temperatures, then I would recommend reaching out to your current service provider, so they can look into your configuration on their end.
