Good afternoon, I have 2 separate baseboard heaters in my condo. Will the adc-t2000 thermostat work with my units?
The ADC T2000 is not designed for line voltage applications, no that wouldn’t work. You may be able to piece it together by installing supplemental high voltage relays at the heaters.
There are no ADC compatible thermostats that work with Line voltage directly that I am aware.

You can use a Nest thermostat with baseboard heating line voltage, and the Nest is compatible with (ADC) alarm.com. you will need an Aube transformer (this may also work with a T2000).

That’s a 240VAC Relay they are adding in. Nest is not directly compatible, to clarify.
That said, the Aube transformer linked looks like a great option, if you are wanting to use a 24VAC T-stat with baseboard heat. I would urge extreme caution should it be tried. Be certain to cut all power to the system when working on it.
Jason…
in theory, would you think the use of the Aube transformer would enable one to use the T2000 (as opposed to the Nest) with baseboard heat?
tstat wiring:
White to W1
Blue to C
Red to RH
Presumably, yes. Would use the same 3-wire orientation (R, W, C) as it is only turning heat on/off. You would have a number of unusable features on the T-stat, and the relay incurs an additional expense, so it would be a little pricey compared to Tstats designed for use with baseboard heating.
I have not tried it myself, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t work. I can try to verify with ADC that the T2000 doesn’t have some reason it wouldn’t accept a 3-wire configuration.
The Stelpro Line Voltage Z-Wave Thermostat has been added to the ADC list of supported devices.
