ADC T-2000 with Aprilaire 800 Steam Humidifier

Hello,

Long time lurker, appreciate all the advice this forum offers.

I was just curious if anyone is using the ADC T2000 to control an Aprilaire 800 steam humidifier? From the Aprilaire manual, it requires 2 dry contacts to turn the humidifier on and off. Would the Z terminal have the functionality I need for this control? If not I could probably use a 24V relay to provide the dry contact.

Welcome! The Z terminal would be energized, it would switch 24VAC, but yeah you should be able to then use a relay to provide the dry contact control.
