I received a freeze warning from the smart water valve during a medium flow event (running toilet); it’s not that cold in the northeast yet so just wanted to double check what that meant. Is it detecting the temperature of the water entering the house from the main line?
Hello, the SWM150 is installed upstream from the fixtures in the home, and is detecting the water entering the home from the main line.
The low temperature threshold for a freeze warning is by default 39 degrees.
