ADC log in attempts?

How many ADC.com attempts are you allowed before they lock you out of the account?

Does ADC.com give you a valid notification ( AND HOW??) that you are locked out, or do they just let you keep guessing your PW ???

It is 5 attempts before you are locked out. You will receive a message in the app when attempting to login if you fail stating as much. When failing on the website, its a little less clear but still states you will be locked out after too many failed attempts.

You will be notified by email once you are locked out but the login page on Alarm.com will not notify you that you have been locked out after that 5th attempt

i do wish i could delete – erase all messages / regarding my post. Is that possible?

**** Please confirm that if it is very urgent and your customer needs very urgent immediate help, then all they need to do is type “urgent please escalate” at the the top of the message to have an immediate response?

I know there are issues with vpn / incognito pages etc,

fortunately i didnt need to do a reset. It may have been a vpn / incogniti issue.

On the alarm.com website, you just receive this notification:

Invalid credentials. Forgot your username or password?
Please note, numerous invalid attempts will lock your account.

For email, you receive:

As a security precaution your account has been locked out. To unlock your account, please go to Login Help and fill out ‘Forgot your password’ here.

If you don’t recognize this action, please change your login name and password and use security features like Two-Factor Authentication.
