so totally not looking or expecting ADC to fix anything, but i recently upgraded my iPhone to ios27 public beta.
the CarPlay widget was showing up as blank. if i delete and try to add the ADC widget again - the phone doesn’t see ADC as an app that provides a widget.
also if i swipe down to search for apps and start typing alarm, the ADC app displays a blank icon.
i’m sure ADC is also testing ios27 - but figured i’d provide the feedback in case they wanted to hear about it.
Since you’re running the iOS 27 Public Beta, it’s possible that the behavior you’re described is related to changes in the beta version of iOS rather than the Alarm.com app itself. We have seen similar situations with previous major iOS releases where Apple introduced changes affecting widgets, and Alarm.com addressed those in later app updates. If you are already running the latest version of the Alarm.com app, we recommend that you continue to monitor future Alarm.com app updates, as beta-related compatibility improvements are typically released once Apple finalizes the operating system.
Thank you again for reporting your experience. If you have any other questions, please let us know.
I am running the latest version of the ADC app. I’ll continue to monitor - especially when apple releases new versions of ios27 or ADC issues app updates.
