I’ve been running 2 of these 5 days now. Excellent cameras that do a good job of keeping dogs off the couch when they enter defined perimeter. The privacy shutter is awesome and easy to set up to shut while alarm is not armed away.
two relatively minor quirks
I wall mounted this around 9 - 10 ft and the only way i could get proper articulation to adjust to where i wanted it to point was to turn the wall mount upside down. Sideways and rightside up didnt work out in that regard.
the perimeters i set up to alarm get tripped when my dogs are near, but not inside the area.

Are you setting up trip wires or ground zone for the video analytics rule?
Ground Zones inform the AI process where where people or animals will be walking, cars will be driving, etc. The boundary is the plane where feet would be moving in the area of interest. If the person/animal is walking at the edge of the ground zone, that activity can be captured. It’s not like older video motion detection where the bulk of the motion must occur within the boundaries of the detection box.
If you are having trouble with activity being detected in an area of the frame that the ground zone does not cover, please send us a private message with a screenshot of that activity if possible, and we can compare it against the ground zone and provide troubleshooting guidance.
