700 series zwave

Hi I’m just wondering if a 700 series Z-Wave device would work with an IQ 2 panel, or does some hardware need to be updated also.

Specifically I’m looking into getting the aeotec Smart Switch 7.

No 700 series Z-Wave devices are tested compatible by Qolsys for the IQ Panel 2+

A list of compatible devices can be found here.

I have reached out to Qolsys for further information on the subject and will follow up.

Sounds like you’ll need a new daughter card to use 700 series Z-wave devices. The IQ2++ is coming I guess :slight_smile:

Can confirm that It will be new hardware but no word on whether that will be a separate daughter card or if it will be a new panel. There is no ETA on when a solution would be made available.
