Are 2gig sensors compatible with the Qolsys panel?
I’m trying to learn in 2gig 345 door window contacts and when I go to the auto learn setting I try tripping the sensors and I try the tamper and nothing works. It doesn’t register on the panel.
Am I doing something wrong?
No they are not compatible. 2GIG uses the Honeywell 345Mhz frequency and Qolsys uses the GE 319Mhz frequency.
You could use a translator, like the RE-524X. This should allow you to use existing 2GIG sensors with the Qolsys panel.
