I noticed the specifications on the 2gig recessed food sensor has a 70 minute supervisory interval. What does this mean exactly?
Wireless sensors have a supervisory interval in order to ensure continued RF functionality. Essentially, supervision is a timed interaction between your sensor and control panel. If you have ever seen a “sensor loss of supervision” message, this means that this check-in signal was not received, which typically indicates RF signal interference or, less likely, sensor damage.
Great explanation, makes perfect sense, thank you!
