Is there a way to set up a panic button for my alarm.com system (2Gig panel) and let Surety Monitoring know it is a problem in my elevator if they send someone for support?
I’m not really familiar with elevator mechanicals, but if you have a call or help button in the elevator car on the control board I imagine that triggers something in the actual mechanical room for that elevator.
If there is a way to monitor that in the mechanical room with a relay, then you would be able to wire the relay to something like the 2GIG DW10-345 wired input and program it as needed.
There is no dedicated product for this kind of application. I would imagine a 2GIG wireless panic button would have trouble transmitting from inside an elevator car.
